Our Story
From a hillside moshav to a destination for wine lovers — the journey of Galilee Vine.
Est. 2009
Rooted in Ramot Naftali
Galilee Vine began as a passion project on the volcanic slopes above the Hula Valley. What started with a single hectare of Cabernet has grown into a boutique estate producing around 12,000 bottles per year — each one reflecting the land it comes from.
We believe great wine is made in the vineyard first. Our team prunes, harvests, and sorts by hand, ensuring only the finest fruit reaches the press.
Terroir
The Upper Galilee Advantage
At 750 metres above sea level, our vines benefit from dramatic temperature swings — hot days that ripen fruit fully, and cool nights that preserve acidity and aromatics.
- Volcanic basalt soil with excellent drainage
- Mediterranean climate with reliable sunshine
- Proximity to Mount Hermon snow melt for natural irrigation
- Sustainable farming — minimal intervention, no herbicides
Philosophy
Small Batch, Big Character
We ferment in open-top tanks and age in French and local oak. No shortcuts, no mass production — just honest wine from a place we love.
Cellar Craft
Each vintage is aged on fine lees and racked by gravity. Our winemaker tastes every barrel before blending.
Bottle by Bottle
Labels are applied by hand. Limited releases sell through our tasting room and select restaurants across Israel.
A Place to Belong
Visitors become part of our extended family. Many return each harvest to walk the vines and taste the new vintage.
